Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, and Jackie Shroff-starrer Khal Nayak recently completed 30 years. To celebrate this, the makers are all set to re-release the movie for the audience on September 5 in theatres.
The 1993 action drama, Khal Nayak, directed and produced by Subhash Ghai was a blockbuster movie. The chemistry between Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt impressed fans and their performances in the movie were also well appreciated by the audience. The movie completed 30 years on August 6, 2023.
In a media statement, filmmaker Subhash Ghai revealed that a star-studded movie premiere will also be organized on September 4. The audience still remembers the movie’s iconic song Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai. Madhuri Dixit’s electrifying moves and the song’s catchy beats still ignite the same excitement among fans.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai said, “As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Khal Nayak, I am thrilled to announce that Mukta Arts is preparing to re-release this iconic film in Mukta Theatre's chains on September 5th.”
He added, “The love and support we received from the audience three decades ago were truly overwhelming, and it feels like the perfect time to bring back the magic of Khal Nayak to the big screen. Khal Nayak holds a special place in my heart, and I can't wait for audiences to experience its power once again.” On September 4th, Mukta Arts & Radio Nasha will host an exclusive premiere event to commemorate this milestone at Inox, Inorbit Mall Malad. The premiere will be graced by the film's esteemed cast and crew.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie Leo which also stars Thalapathy Vijay. The movie is helmed by Shankar and is scheduled to release on October 19. The actor is essaying the role of the antagonist in the movie.
