Sanjay Dutt begins filming Prasthaanam on dad Sunil Dutt’s birth anniversary

On June 1, which marked the 89th birth anniversary of his late mother, Nargis, Sanjay Dutt launched his new production venture.

Today, on the 90th birth anniversary of his late father, Sunil Dutt, he begins shooting his portions for the Hindi remake of Prasthanam in Lucknow. While Manisha Koirala, who plays Sanjay’s wife in the movie, began her part with crucial scenes with Ali Fazal, Chunky Panday and Satyajeet Dubey, Sanju will be shooting his portions extensively in the Uttar Pratesh capital.

Incidentally, this film sees him team up with another actor after a long time. Jackie Shroff, who has collaborated with Dutt on several movies in the past like Khalnayak, Kartoos, Mission Kashmir and Eklavya: The Royal Guard, joins the cast in a pivotal role.
