The Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha are now a married couple. The festivities took place at The Leela Palace, Udaipur.
Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha have finally tied the knot with each other at the Udaipur's Leela Palace on Sunday, September 24. Multiple celebritiies such as former tennis player Sania Mirza and ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra, and top politicans including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann attended the festivities.
Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti's cousin, couldn't come at the wedding due to her prior work commitments. Though her mother Madhu Chopa and brother Siddharth Chopra wee part of the celebrations, which began on Saturday with a welcome luncheon. A 90s themed sangeet party was held on Saturday night where Navraj Hans performed his famous songs.
It was in May when the duo exchanged rings at the Kapurthala house in New Delhi in the presence of their loved ones. The star-studded ceremony was attended by several politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray.
On their engagement day itself, i.e. May 13, the couple had shared their beautiful and stunning photos on Instagram. While, the Ishaqzaade actress captioned them, "Everything I prayed for...I said yes!", the Aam Aadmi Party leader wrote, "Everything I prayed for...She said yes!".
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti Chopra will be seen next in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue opposite Akshay Kumar. The upcoming film is the biopic of chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who rescued 65 miners during the Raniganj Coalfields collapse in 1989. The film will hit theatres on October 6.
