'More than my friend, Kareena Kapoor Khan is my father's wife': Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut in the year 2018. The actress, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, has ever since become a favourite among brands, and has even bagged two other big projects - Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan and Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan.

Even though Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh might not see each other face-to-face, both Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, are on good terms with Saif and often hang out with him. Not only Saif, Sara and Ibrahim are also seen bonding with Kareena Kapoor Khan at some occasions too.

Sara Ali Khan had once mentioned that Kareena Kapoor Khan wanted to be her friend. When Femina asked Sara what do her conversations with Bebo include, she went on to say, "I do think that Kareena is my friend, but more than that, she is my father’s wife. I respect her, and realise that she makes my father happy. We belong to the same profession, and have a similar world, thus, our conversations include that as well."

In the same interview, talking about Saif-Kareena's concern over little Taimur Ali Khan getting the limelight, Sara added, "I can understand why my father is concerned with Taimur getting attention. Perhaps, he doesn’t want him to grow up feeling special or entitled. We can’t do anything about the media attention he gets; it’s part of the way things function at this point of time. If my father and Kareena (Kapoor Khan) inculcate—which I am sure they do—discipline in him, and ensure that he doesn’t get attached to this attention, it will be fine."
