'Masaan' relived! Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal and Guneet Monga set to reunite for next

Masaan, which was produced by Guneet Monga and directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, turned out to be a landmark movie winning awards and accolades at several international film festivals even before its release in India. Set in Varanasi, the 2015 social drama was instrumental in changing the lives of many people associated with it. Vicky Kaushal, who debuted as a lead in it, made an impact with his performance, while Richa Chadha validated her position as an actress of substance. It also established Guneet as one of the most successful producers in Bollywood.

A source tells us that Richa, Vicky and the producer are teaming up again for yet another unique project, four years after their first outing together. The Fukrey and Sanju stars recently met Guneet for an upcoming show where they walked down memory lane and reminisced their Masaan days.

“They are coming together for a brand new project — a digital original film — with Richa and Vicky as leads and Guneet producing it. Recently, they had a meeting to lock everything and the film will go on floors soon,” says the source.
