Amitabh Bachchan to join beta-bahu in 'Gulab Jamun'?

It was only a few days ago that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirmed doing 'Gulab Jamun' with husband Abhishek Bachchan. And, now it looks like the film is going to get even bigger as producer Anurag Kashyap has reportedly managed to rope in Amitabh Bachchan in the film.

The filmmaker has managed a casting coup of sorts by convincing Big B to join the film's cast.  Gulab Jamun, directed by Sarvesh-Mewara, would reportedly tell a story of a three-generation family and rumour has it that Sr. Bachchan will play either Aishwarya or Abhishek's father. 

"After initiating talks with Abhishek and Ash, the makers had given a narration to Big B last year, following which he had suggested a few tweaks to the script. It was after the wrap-up of Manmarziyan last month that conversation around this film started again. Anurag reached out to Big B with the reworked script. If all goes as planned, he will be on board soon. It is yet unknown whether he will be playing a father to Abhishek or Aishwarya, a source told Mid Day. 

The trio was last seen together in 2008 film Sarkar Raj.
