Rhea Chakraborty had shared her first look from 'Chehre' co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi back in July 2019.
Emraan Hashmi, on Tuesday, gave a surprise to his fans as he shared the poster of his upcoming film 'Chehre', also starring Amitabh Bachchan. Along with the brand new poster, Emraan also shared the release date of the film. 'Chehre' is all set to release on April 30 in theatres.
The poster of 'Chehre' shows Amitabh and Emraan with their game faces on, attempting to solve a mystery. Around them are Krystle D'Souza, Annu Kapoor, Drithiman Chatterjee, and Raghubir Yadav.
However, what caught our attention was that Rhea Chakraborty was seemingly missing from the poster as well as the announcement. 'Chehre', directed by Rumi Jaafry, also reportedly starred Rhea Chakraborty. Rhea had also shared her first look from the film in July 2019, a year before she was entangled in the controversy surrounding her boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Check out the poster here.
In other news, 'Chehre' director Rumi has often spoken in favour of Rhea and had said that he was even planning to make a film starring Rhea and Sushant before his death in June.
In an earlier interview, Rumi had said, "She was withdrawn and quiet. Didn’t speak much. Can’t blame her after what she has gone through. Let the heat and dust settle down. I’m sure Rhea will have a lot to say."
In another interview to Mid-Day, He had said, "I am confident she will get through this phase. Everybody around will advise you to be brave, but only the one going through [the ordeal] knows how difficult it is. Time is the best healer; with time, she will be fine. She is a talented artist and will be ready to bounce back."
