Rhea Chakraborty, who was the prime suspect in actor Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic death, and spent more than a month in jail after getting arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials is expected to return to the silver screen soon.

Her director friend Rumi Jaffery is positive that Rhea will put the bitterness of the past year behind her and return to the industry.

Rumi, who was all set to begin work on a film with Sushant and Rhea in 2020, has said that he is positive that Rhea will bounce back.

He told Mid-Day, "I am confident she will get through this phase. Everybody around will advise you to be brave, but only the one going through [the ordeal] knows how difficult it is. Time is the best healer; with time, she will be fine. She is a talented artiste and will be ready to bounce back."

Rumi further said that he had high regard for people who supported Rhea in her time of trial. "People drew their own conclusions on the matter. Ideally, we should wait for the judiciary [to give its verdict]. Every coin has two sides, but Rhea should also get a fair trial. I have the highest regard for those who supported her then."

In an earlier interview, Rumi had also disclosed that he recently met Rhea and that she has become quiet and withdrawn. In an interview to SpotboyE, Rumi had said, "It has been a traumatic year for her. Of course, the year was bad for everyone. But in her case, it was trauma on another level. Can you imagine any girl from a well-to-do middle-class family spending a month in jail? It has crushed her morale completely."
