On Monday, August 14, Elvish Yadav was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2 defeating Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve, and Pooja Bhatt in the Grand Finale. He became the first wildcard in the Bigg Boss history (including the past 16 seasons on television and the first OTT season) to win the show.
On Wednesday, August 16, when Pooja Bhatt's sister Alia Bhatt was conducting an 'Ask Me Anything' session on her Instagram, one of her fans and followers asked her, "Elvish Yadav ke baare me kuch ho jaaye (please say something about Elvish Yadav)", to which she replied his famous catchphrase "Systummmm", and added red hearts emojis.
However, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress is being brutally trolled on social media for giving a shoutout to Elvish. When her Instagram Story was shared on sub-reddit 'BollyBlindsNGossip' on Reddit, netizens criticised Alia Bhatt for showing her support to the popular YouTuber.
Talking about Elvish, one user wrote, "Also, a known misogynist who is known for harassing women and threatening journalists", while another added, "People those who are defending her saying that how she would have known whether he is a misogynist - if you don't know about them, shouldn't you refrain supporting them publicly?
