Viral video features 'Rasgulla Idli', bizarre food fusion stuns netizens

The internet continues to churn out unconventional food combinations, challenging culinary norms with peculiar creations. Food fusion trends persist, mixing sweet and savoury and even transforming spicy dishes into ice creams, causing culinary shockwaves.

A recent example is the 'Rasgulla Idli,' featured in an Instagram reel by @ritu_culinaryarts. In the video, idli molds are prepared conventionally, but the twist comes when Rasgullas, a famous Bengali sweet, are added between layers of batter. This isn't the first time Rasgulla has been paired with an unexpected partner. An Ahmedabad vendor stirred controversy by serving Rasgulla in a cup of chai, pushing culinary boundaries and sparking discussions among Desi foodies.

Desi foodies also started an online war against Fanta Maggi and Black Forest Cake Maggi, showing disgust and anger towards such combinations of food.

For those preferring more traditional flavours, these unconventional culinary experiments may not hit the sweet spot!
