Kapil Sharma, who is gearing up for 'The Kapil Sharma Show 2' even shared a Diwali message for his fans
Like many of us, the festival of lights Diwali holds a special place in comedian and actor Kapil Sharma’s life.
Kapil, who remains busy all year round with his shows, says that Diwali is the time when he likes to take a break and spend time with his family.
The comedian who is all set to come up with the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show, is also gearing up for his wedding with long-time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on December 12.
While sharing his Diwali plans with indianexpress.com, Kapil Sharma said, “Every Diwali is special for me. It is a time when I am surrounded by my family and loved ones. This time, it is even more special as Ginni will be a part of the celebrations in Amritsar.”
Going down memory lane, the actor also went on to say, “I clearly remember, my father hated that we burst crackers. But as a child, I was extremely stubborn. He would eventually give in and buy me firecrackers. But I made sure never to burst them on the day of Diwali. I thought my cracker’s noise would get lost. So I would burst it the next day for it to stand out. These are some sweet childhood memories. But now I feel responsible towards the environment and animals. So I have pledged to make it a green and noise free Diwali.”
Kapil Sharma also shared a Diwali message for his fans and followers.
He said, “This Diwali, ditch the crackers and spread love, laughter and light. Please try and keep the noise down, as it scares and disturbs animals. I really want to wish each and every one of you a very happy Diwali. Keep laughing always.”
Lastly, when he was asked what would he do if he was a cracker, Kapil said, “I am a laughter bomb! Because all other crackers are not eco-friendly.”
