Parth Samthaan will soon be seen on his new webseries - Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 3, opposite his former co-star Niti Taylor
Model-turned-actor Parth Samthaan became an overnight television-star with popular youth drama Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. He was at the top of his game when he decided to quit television for a career in Bollywood. It was around that time when his spat with his former best 'friend' Vikas Gupta made it to prime time news. Things escalated to another level when Parth decided to sue Vikas for molestation amongst many other accusations. Later, Ekta Kapoor came out in Vikas' support and hinted that Parth was romantically involved with Vikas and what ever happened was consensual. And no it didn't stop there! Vikas later shared an intimate bedroom picture of the two on socila media in his defence. Between making himself a laughing-stock and staying mum on his relationship with a television biggie, Parth chose the latter and withdrew his complaints and even called for a truce.
In a recent interview with a leading daily, Parth opened up about his big public fight with ex Bigg Boss contestant Vikas Gupta and said, “I feel controversies are part of a celeb’s life. When you are growing up, there are a lot of things. You can’t let it affect you. All I can say is that it only made me stronger and as you know, I kept quiet the entire time as I feel silence is the biggest strength. I wouldn’t lie that I wasn’t bothered but I had my family, friends, and fans who motivated me to keep going.”
Parth still awaits the release of his Bollywood film but there's a good news for his fans. The handsome actor will soon be seen on his new webseries - Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan S03, opposite his former co-star Niti Taylor. There were reports of the two not getting along during Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. When asked if there was any awkwardness on the set this time, he told India Today, "People can say what they have to. It's just that we were very professional when the show was happening. Right now, we just discussed when Season 3 started that let's just be more expressive instead of being professional, let's be more normal. And asked her to forget about what happened in the past and move on and start a fresh. We started off as very normal people talking to each other and then we hit it off after a point. And now we are good in terms of cooperation and coordination."
Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan S03 launched on May 15. It also stars Kishwer Merchantt, Charlie Chauhan, Pranay Pachauri, Barkha Singh and Meherzan Mazda.
