Amitabh Bachchan’s hit show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ has changed the lives of countless people and continues to do so. The contestant to sit on the hot seat in the latest episode of the show was a resident of Bharatpur, Rajasthan named Aaysha.

Aaysha seemed ecstatic to be able to sit on the hottest and play the game. She sobbed as Big B announced her name. Aaysha is a teacher at a government school and teaches Biology till grade 10. She told Bachchan how the practice of discrimination between boys and girls still prevails in their village and girls are not allowed to select science as an option for higher studies as it costs more money.

Aaysha shared she had a love marriage and totally adores her husband who she met during coaching studies in 2003. The couple got married amid the pandemic last year. The reason for a 17-year gap is because Aaysha belonged to a Muslim family while her husband, Neeraj is a Hindu Brahmin.

In a video shot about Aaysha life, she introduced her family where her mother-in-law said that the former doesn’t know how to cook food and her rotis are never round. Aaysha answered all questions but used all her lifelines till she reached question number seven for Rs 1.6 lakhs. She then gave the answers with her own knowledge and managed to win Rs 6.4 lakhs.

For the 10th question for Rs 12.5 lakhs, Aaysha pondered a lot and even came to an answer. However, as she was unsure she decided to quit. Here’s the question:

Q. Who became the first Cabinet Minister of Industry and Supply of independent India? A) R R Diwakar, B) Syama Prasad Mookerjee C) C Rajagopalachari D) Harekrushna Mahatab.

After quitting, Aaysha chose B) Syama Prasad Mookerjee which was also the correct answer.

When Amitabh Bachchan asked what will she do with the prize money, Aaysha said she will help her school and will provide money for COVID-19 relief. She said that if some money is left she will go for a honeymoon with her husband as they weren’t able to due to the pandemic.
