Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar graced the Men's Hockey World Cup final with his presence at the Kalinga Stadium on Sunday.
Even though India crashed out after losing in the quarter-final, Tendulkar has gone to enjoy the sport and cheer Netherlands and Belgium as the two nations chase for the coveted trophy.

Kudos to @Naveen_Odisha & @TheHockeyIndia for putting up this world-class event!" Tendulkar tweeted with a picture of him from the Kalinga Stadium.

Earlier in the day, Tendulkar had thanked the Indian and international hockey players to inspire the younger generation with their display of A-one hockey.
"To all the Indian and international hockey players across the world who participated in the World Cup, it was joy to watch you and display your talent was truly special. What you have done is, you've inspired the younger generation to lift up a hockey stick and start chasing their dreams. So, thank you very much ffor doing so. I, for sure, will be there to watch the final in Bhubneshwar at the Kalinga Stadium. Look forward to seeing you guys. Enjoy the sport!" Tendulkar said in a video.

Earlier, former cricket veterans like Anil Kumble and Virender Sehwag have visited Bhubaneswar for hockey matches. The inaugural ceremony of the world cup was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, AR Rahman and Salman Khan.
