A 52-year-old man claiming to be a Bollywood film director has been arrested by the Versova police for allegedly flashing a revolver by loading bullets and pointing it towards loan recovery agents.

The accused has been identified as Rana Bhatia who is a resident of Versova area of Andheri west. According to police, complainant Chanki Singh Lohat (32) alleged that while he along with his other colleague Mrityunjay Singh went to Bhatia's residence to ask about an unpaid instalment, the accused took out his revolver and abused the duo.

Lohat works for a private company Lotus Business Solutions that supplies workforce and looks after loan recovery tasks on behalf of the private banks. "So far Rana has paid Rs 2.40 lakhs, but he failed to pay the instalment for three months. When Singh visited his place, Rana took out his weapon with eight bullets, and threatened the duo.
