Maharashtra government transfers 7 IPS officers in state, more on the cards

Addl CP Ravindra Shisve, who was posted at Central Region in Mumbai was transferred to Protection & Security Branch of Mumbai Police.

In a minor reshuffle, the state government on Tuesday transferred seven IAS officers. Officers of the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Additional Commissioner of Police (Addl CP) were transferred within the state.

IPS officer Rajendra Singh was posted at Special Task Force of state police, S Jagannathan was posted at Planning & Coordination department, while officer Dhananjay Kamlakar was transferred to the newly created post of Policy department.

Addl CP Ravindra Shisve, who was posted at Central Region in Mumbai was transferred to Protection & Security Branch of Mumbai Police. Shishve replaced Nishith Mishra, who was currently working as Addl CP South Region.

Officer Pravin Padwal, who was currently working as Addl CP South Region, was transferred to Mumbai Traffic Police Branch. Padwal replaced officer S Veeresh Prabhu, who in turn replaced Shisve.

According to sources in the home department, more transfers are likely to take place in the police department in the coming days.
