Gudamallani legislator Hemaram Choudhary’s supporters are disappointed because the former revenue minister has not been made the minister. On Monday, hundreds of supporters reached the residence of Hemaram Chowdhary, located at Krishna Nagar, Jodhpur and submitted their resignation demanding Choudhary as the minister.

Barmer MLA Mevaram Jain, Pachpadra MLA Madan Prajapat and Shiv MLA Amin Khan also boycotted the swearing-in ceremony, expressing resentment on not being appointed as the minister. It is noteworthy that one MLA from Barmer district was decided to be the minister following which Harish Chaudhary, who is known as a strong leader and close to Rahul Gandhi, was elected. During the previous tenure, Hemaram came in the headlines after he got emotional in the assembly, while former minister Amin Khan made the headlines after controversial comments over Sonia Gandhi.

There is anger in the activists of Gudamalani legislator Hemaram Choudhary over him not being elected as the minister. It was believed that Chaudhary could get a place in the cabinet formation but it did not happen. In the list of ministers released on Sunday evening, Hemaram Chowdhary’s name was not mentioned, which frustrated his supporters and on Monday morning, a large number of supporters reached his residence and handed over their resignations after the minister was not given the post in Gehlot government.

Chaudhary said that it is the love of workers who are demanding it. I have tried to convince them and persuade them to not do it for the sake of the party but how can I stop them from expressing their emotions? Everyone has their own way.
