While Avnesh Singh Rathore and Rajesh Kumar Yadav were arrested from Farukkhabad, Manoj Varma and Sonu Varma nabbed in Agra.
Four more persons, including the main accused, were today arrested in connection with the leakage of question papers of combined entrance examination for admission in BEd course in Uttar Pradesh.
"While Avnesh Singh Rathore and Rajesh Kumar Yadav were arrested from Farukkhabad, Manoj Varma and Sonu Varma nabbed in Agra," additional director general of police (law and order) Brij Lal told reporters Lucknow.
The police had already arrested four persons from Farukkhabad on May 4 and recovered 600 computerised and hand written copies of question papers of general knowledge, Hindi and English languages of the BEd examination scheduled to be held on May 5.
All the four accused -- Saurabh Rathore, Brijesh Kumar Yadav, Sanjay Dubey and Pradeep Kumar -- arrested on May 4 were taken on police remand, Lal said.
During interrogation Saurabh revealed that Avnesh supplied the question papers, which he procured from two persons in Agra, the ADG said.
"Avnesh, a former employee of Sahitya Bhawan Publication of Agra, which printed the question papers, was arrested this morning," he said, adding Manoj and Sonu were arrested from Agra and they have admitted their crime.
Avnesh, in connivance with his former colleague Manoj and Sonu, managed to get the papers, police said.
"Sonu, who worked in the packaging department of the printing press, assured Avnesh and Manoj of providing the question papers," Lal said.
The ADG said on May 1, Sonu provided a copy of the question papers to Manoj, who further supplied it to Avnesh in Farukkhabad.
"Avnesh later sold these question papers to many people," he said.
"Role of Sahitya Bhawan Publication is under suspicion and stern action would be taken against staff concerned," he said.
He said education department and Lucknow University, which was responsible to conduct the exam, were being recommended to take action against the press.
"In the meantime Rajesh Kumar Yadav, owner of the photocopy shop, where xerox copies of the question papers were prepared, has also been arrested," Lal said, adding that the accused arrested today would be taken on remand for detailed interrogation.
Entrance examination of BEd was cancelled at the eleventh hour after the leakage of the question papers.
About 6.92 lakh aspirants were slated to take up the examination, scheduled to be held in 12 districts of the state.
