Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Saturday alleged some people are trying to derail the AAP government's scheme for doorstep delivery of services launched earlier this week.

The chief minister's allegation come after some reports about mischievous elements trying to disrupt the scheme by giving fake addresses.
Kejriwal, however, did not take name of anyone.

"I am very sad. Due to dirty politics, some people are trying to derail such a good scheme. They should not work against people. This is wrong.

"All should support for public-welfare works regardless of any political party running the government," Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi.

On Monday, the chief minister had launched the scheme under which Delhiites can avail 40 services, including driving licence, ration card, caste and marriage registration certificates, at their doorstep.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government had proposed doorstep delivery of services earlier this year and had accused Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal of stalling it. However, a five-judge Constitution Bench had on July 4 laid down broad parameters for the governance of the national capital, paving the way for the government to proceed with the scheme.

In a 21-page detailed plan, the VFS global has laid down the entire process of availing the services. A copy of the proposal is with DNA. The entire process will require a full-fledged team comprising of a project manager, technical support, HR, trainers and a minimum of 70 mobile sahayaks.

A call has to be made at 1076 to avail the doorstep delivery of services.

"A separate mobile application can be used for coordinating with the mobile sahayak. As soon as the mobile sahayak reach the resident's house, s/he will confirm the details with the citizen. In case the citizen is not available or the address is not traceable, the mobile sahayak will call the citizen. All the calls made by the mobile sahayak will be made through the back end of doorstep application and will be recorded," the proposal stated.
