BJP will script new chapter in political history of Jammu and Kashmir: Bali Bhagat

BJP will script new chapter in political history of Jammu and Kashmir after Assembly elections, party's state general secretary Bali Bhagat said on Wednesday. He expressed his views while addressing series of public meetings at Kalri, Karwanda, Bhalwal and Kanger areas in connection with the ongoing 'Parivartan Yatra' of the party.

Bhagat sought support of every section of the society for the upcoming Assembly polls."We seek support of every section of the society to bring positive change in Jammu and Kashmir where corruption and nepotism has sneaked deep from top to bottom," he alleged.

Bhagat said that results of the Lok Sabha elections were a clear indication that people of the state were looking towards BJP as an alternative to provide them stable and corruption- free government which ensure justice with all regions of Jammu and Kashmir."Since 1947, Jammu and Ladakh regions are forced to play the role of second fiddle in the state politics but with the emergence of BJP the scenario would be changed," he said.

Exhorting youths to participate in the ongoing 'Parivartan Yatra' in Jammu and Kashmir, Bhagat asked them to throw out the present regime in the state. He charged that large backdoor appointments were being made during the last six-year tenure of the Omar Abdullah government and the youths are the worst victims of the wrong policies being propagated by the state government.
