No Chief Minister of a BJP-ruled state - Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Haryana, Goa, Madhya Pradesh etc. has as yet reacted to the verdict.

As the Mahagathbandhan led by Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and Lalu Yadav's RJD surged towards a certain victory in the Bihar elections, Chief Ministers from different states expressed their views on the outcome.
West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee hailed the verdict:
Congratulations @NitishKumar ji, Lalu ji & your full team. And all my Bihar brothers & sisters. Victory of tolerance, defeat of intolerance

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also praised the verdict and congratulated Nitish Kumar.

Assam CM Tarun Gogoi, who is from the Congress, also celebrated the verdict:
