Watch: Scary new TV spot will make you wonder if Vision will survive Avengers: Infinity War

One of the big questions that continues to haunt us about Avengers: Infinity War is which character will meet his demise while squaring off against Thanos?

In an ominous new teaser, the fate of the Avengers seems to hang in the balance as it becomes clear that the Mad Titan’s invasion will lead to casualties.

Even though there is no new footage in the teaser, there’s a portentous warning from Vision that ‘the end is near’.

It has been heavily hinted in the past that not all our favourite heroes will survive the events of the movie. There’s a strong rumour that one of the big 3 – Captain America, Iron Man or Thor will meet their maker. The new spot however suggests that perhaps it will be Vision who will cease to be.

Avengers: Infinity War is about Thanos’ quest to unite all stones so that he can come to Earth in the movie while the superheroes come together to stop him in order to save the planet. The film stars Robert Downey Jr, Josh Brolin, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L Jackson, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Don Cheadle, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd and Tom Hiddleston.

The film is scheduled for an April 27 release.
