'The Kissing Booth 2': Joey King, Jacob Elordi's popular teen rom-com trailer date, storyline released

The makers of The Kissing Booth, a teen romantic comedy film, on Monday launched a small teaser of the upcoming film which is all set to release on July 24 on Netflix. The film is based on a book by the same name written by Beth Reekles. It stars Joey King, Jacob Elordi, Joel Courtney, and Molly Ringwald. 

For those who don't know, the story of the film follows Elle, played by Joey, whose budding romance with a high school senior and bad-boy Noah, played by Jacob, puts her lifelong friendship with Noah's younger brother Lee, played by Joel, in jeopardy. The film had first released in May 2018 and was a commercial success for the streaming platforms as it was loved by the audiences.

The Kissing Booth 2 will explore love and friendship just like the first film did as by the end of the first film Noah left for Harvard and Joey and Lee sorts out their differences, however, in Harvard Noah meets a seemingly perfect "friend", played by newcomer Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Elle is torn between trusting Noah or exploring things with a new classmate of her own, Marco, played by Taylor Zakhar Perez.
