When Ajay Devgn met Anna Hazare

Crusader Anna Hazare’s relentless attack on the central government finds an unlikely road to motivate his followers to campaign against corruption. Yes, he has taken the Bollywood route.

The thespian, who was on maun vrat,  urged all Bollywood filmmakers, through his supporters, to make more films on anti-corruption and lone heroes fighting corruption so that he can up the ante against the government. Anna,  also reportedly, feels that if Bollywood films are made on this line then more and more people will be up in arms against the government.

“Ajay and (filmmaker) Rohit Shetty met Anna Hazare  for the first time. He urged them to make more movies on honest cops  fighting corruption. He also praised Rohit’s last film where Ajay was seen fighting corruption all alone. He urged them to speak to every Bollywood filmmaker and tell them to make such films,” says a source.

Anna has also apparently promised that he will also help in promotion of the films if these films are made on this subject.

“Anna has maintained close ties with Aamir Khan, who was present when he had broken his fast the last time. Anna is keen on reaching out to more filmmakers on the issue and garner as much support as possible. He wants a mass support from Bollywood on his movement as he feels that films can be an effective tool for his movement,” adds the source.
