TV actor Rakesh Bedi takes up film production in Marathi

Noted Television actor Rakesh Bedi has ventured into film production with a Marathi movie Asa Mi....Tasa mi.....

The film, directed by Raman Kumar, releases next month.

Rakesh and Raman trace back their careers to Doordarshan sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi in the 1980s.

Bedi has named his production company, Yes Boss Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Bedi said he was not new to Marathi language and its culture. "I have worked with several Maharashtrian actors throughout my career. My wife Aradhana hails from Pune," he said.

The actor said the story about the travails of a middle class man has been written by the director Raman Kumar.

The dialogues and screenplay are by Parag Kulkarni. The film stars Makrand Anaspure, Rahul Mehendale, Shweta Mehendale, Ravindra Berde and others.
