Rishi Kapoor predicts 'huge stardom' for Priya Prakash Varrier; she calls it an 'absolute honour'

It just took a killer smile and a naughty wink to make Priya Prakash Varrier a sensation on social media. While some called her India’s 'National love interest', others have dubbed her as "the girl who winked her way to fame". 

The clip from Malayalam film Manikya Malaraya Poovi's song 'Oru Adaar Love' from movie where the actress is seen exchanges cute glances with a boy recently went viral on Twitter. Post that, Priya not only now has 3.7 million fans on Instagram but has also surpassed Sunny Leone to become the most searched actress on Google.

And now the actress seems to have impressed Rishi Kapoor as well. The veteran actor, known for his controversial tweets, took to the social media platform and was all praises for the 18-year-old. He wrote, "I predict huge Stardom for this girl. Priya Warrier. So expressive,coy coquettish yet innocent. My dear Priya, you going to give all others in your age group a run for their money. God Bless and the best to you! Mere time mein naheen ayeen aap! Kyon? Lol."

The actress too replied by saying that it is an 'absolute honour' to be praised by the 'Prince of Romance'. She took to Twitter and wrote, "It’s an absolute honor to be praised by the "Prince of Romance". The sort of mettle and mantle your aura infers in every artists existence  will always be beyond common contention."

Talking about her new-found stardom, Priya earlier told India Today, "It (the fame) is all so surreal. I don't know how to react! It's very exciting and very new to me. I am very happy right now. Actually, I don't know how to handle the situation right now. So much of excitement all around me. It's just exciting!"

Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor will be next seen in 102 Not Out with Amitabh Bachchan. On the other hand, Priya is making her debut with the Malayalam film and the first song only made her an overnight sensation.
