Pulling off this ensemble isn't everyone's cup of tea but Lisa Haydon can rock a gunny sack and make it look like haute couture! Cape sleeves + Cue separates + Valentino sandals = Perfection! Voluminous hair and subtle make-up added to the great finish. Anushka Sharma too had opted for a Celine cape blazer but we much prefer Lisa's look.
GRAVE MISMATCH
R Madhavan is basking in the success of Tanu Weds Manu Returns and clearly seems to have thrown all the sartorial cautions to the wind. Who in his right mind wears a black suit jacket with brown trousers and blue shirt? The lesser said about the footwear the better. It's the perfect example of - what not to wear on the red carpet since every cardinal style sin has been committed here.
SORCERESS
Bipasha Basu looks straight out of a horror flick. A witch who need a magic wand which turns a bright day into utter darkness. The big hair, the black gown and smokey eyes looked too costumey for one look. It's taking the idea of goth to a grotesque level.
OTT
Neha Dhupia wore a Neha Agarwal colour-blocked ensemble on IIFA red carpet. The head-to-toe colour clash looked too much - the vibrant yellow, floral applique et al. Wish she had worn the crop top with another separate instead of opting for that long voluminous skirt which looks far from figure accentuating.
OVERWHELMING
We give it to Divya Khosla Kumar for daring to try this bold printed Gauri and Nainika gown but the metallic minaudière wasn't really needed since the gown in itself was statement-making. It's not always a good idea to add too many elements to a look and this one takes this cake. Looks like she's drowning in it and looking for a boat to come to her rescue.
BORING
The pink Jenny Packham looks incredibly uninspiring on Priyanka Chopra. The Barbie doll look just felt flat especially on a platform where PC's contemporaries made much more daring sartorial choices. After setting the style benchmark high, PC lets us down with this look.
