Noel Gallagher says Cristiano Ronaldo cannot afford Oasis

Oasis singer Noel Gallagher has said that Cristiano Ronaldo may not be able afford the band for a private gig.

Ronaldo, who was taken in by Real Madrid for a staggering 80 million pounds, recently revealed he preferred the band over the legendary Beatles.

The former Manchester United star also suggested he would love to invite Oasis to see Madrid take on rivals Barcelona in La Liga at the Bernabeu stadium as his guests.

But Noel said he had his doubts if the Portuguese winker could afford to pick up the tab.

"There's only one Ronaldo! I always knew deep down inside him somewhere there was impeccable musical taste," The Sun quoted him as saying.

"I'll be taking up his offer of tickets for the Madrid versus Barcelona game. I'm not sure whether even he could afford us for a gig though!" he added.
