Acting couple Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel were once approached to star in a pornographic movie together, but feared fans would brand it a cheap “stunt”, reports contactmusic.com. The pair married in 1999 and were keen to extend their relationship to a screen partnership.

However, despite being tempted by director Gaspar Noe’s raunchy offer, Cassel concedes the film was inappropriate. He says, “When we sat down and watched (porn) movies together and saw the sex scenes we thought it wasn’t right. People would think it was a stunt. So at the last minute we pulled out of that and ended up doing ‘Irreversible’ with Gaspar instead.”
