'Master' teaser: 'Tough competitors' Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi gear up to pack a punch

The teaser of 'Master', featuring Telugu actor Vijay and Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, is out now. Through the teaser, it is now clear that Vijay plays a teacher by the day and saviour by the night. However, as fate would have it, Vijay had to compete with Vijay in the movie.

'Master' teaser introduced the antagonist Vijay Sethupathi as the toughest competition Vijay could have, considering they both have the same moves and tactics. By the end of the clip, they were about to pack a punch, but they only had a fist bump.

The teaser also gave an insight into the songs in the film, which have been composed by different composers. The film consists of eight singles, at least five of which have been unveiled yet.

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Kutty Song', composed by Anirudh Ravichander, was the first to be unveiled back then. It is, however, not part of the teaser.

Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi would don the role of Bhavani who is a deadly gangster in the movie 'Master'. The movie, reportedly, is based on the clash between a college professor John Durairaj played by Thalapathy Vijay, and the notorious criminal Bhavani. Malavika Mohannan has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Brigada and Gouri G Kishan in pivotal roles. 'Master', much like other movies, would know its fate after coronavirus scare comes to an end.
