Mallika Sherawat always does the unthinkable

Trust actress Mallika Sherawat to do the unthinkable. First she announced her plans to go to Hollywood, then she showed up at the Oscars ceremony. As if that was not enough, she pulled up some more surprises by meeting the US President, Barack Obama, and on Saturday night, she was spotted at the White House, attending the Saturday Night White House Correspondent Dinner there.

A source says that the actress is floored by Obama’s humility and by the way he spoke to her. “First of all Mallika was taken aback with the amount of security that was organised for the event! She was very happy to meet Obama again, he was seated with other dignitaries on the podium. But he spoke to Mallika from there, they even cracked a few jokes!” says the source.

Dressed in a Shahab Durazi number, the actress definitely looked gorgeous, but we’re not sure what to make of the aerobic pose that she’s striking in one picture.

The actress is apparently touring the US and the White House to promote her upcoming Hollywood flick, Politics Of Love, the story of which centres around an Obama supporter (Mallika) falling in love with a Republican supporter, played by Brian White.
