Actor Arjan Bajwa desperately wanted to break out of the nice guy role he had was stuck with after films like Fashion and Guru. And the actor has been roped in for JP Dutta’s next film where he plays the lead role — that of an army officer.

“I always wanted to get into Indian Air Force and this is the closest I can get,” he quips.

Also, Bajwa is playing a photographer in Hema Malini’s upcoming film. Appreciating his work in his last release, Vikram Bhatt called him “an actor who goes through emotions completely, unlike the surface actors of today.”

“I’m a little aggressive by nature (laughs), so maybe I can pull off such roles with ease,” says Bajwa who is holds a black belt in taekwondo.

The actor claims that he can be very experimental with his looks but asserts that in reality he is quite a contrast to his reel life persona.

“In real life, I’m old fashioned,” remarks Bajwa. “I am the kind of person who sticks to values and never goes out of the box. I like those classic hairstyles, and especially from the 1930s and 40s. I am a big sucker for that.”

“I still ride my old Yamaha. Metal watches and leather jackets are my all time favorites. So you guessed I’m not the yo types,” Bajwa remarks.
