Sofia Hayat, who was last seen in Bigg Boss 7, had created a lot of buzz with her police complaint against co-contestant Armaan Kohli for hitting her. The British hottie is now upset with director Anil Goyal for supposedly taking her name in the publicity of his unfinished film, Bhai Ka Mal Hai, even though, she is no longer doing the project. A very angry Sofia sent us the following statement…
"They signed me up three years ago and said they would pay me a meager amount, to which I agreed because I was told they would have a great cast and that it would be a good film for me to do. I even did the promotion a few years back with baba Ram Dev look alike.
I then did not hear anything for three years so thought the film is not going ahead. Finally, after they saw me in Bigg Boss they decide to go ahead with the film. I guess my name was used to sign up the other actors. I clearly replied that I was not interested anymore as the money is low and my contract null and void.
\Anil Goyal then sent me abusive messages saying that how dare I say no, and further accused me of blackmailing him into more money. He also called me a cheap prostitute who shows her body! Of course, I got mad and did not speak to him again.
He then comes back to me after a few months saying we really want you in the film. I said okay, if you pay for my business class tickets. He said no. I even said take it from the money you will pay me, because I understand this is your first venture and I will do you a favour. He said he will not pay for business class, and that he would sign me in his next film if I agreed.
I said no, the fact that he called me terrible names meant I was not doing the film. I am currently working on a few big projects in UK and America and I will not fly to India to work with a man who calls women names like that!"
We received a couple of emails from the publicist of the film which clearly mentions the name of Sofia in the cast. To be double sure we also called up the publicist who said that she is indeed doing the film and is playing a rural character.
