Defence Recruitment 2021: Applications for various posts, earn up to Rs 70,000 - Details inside

The Army Head Quarter Signal Regiment of the Meerut Cantt has announced applications for various Civilian Group C posts. This is a golden opportunity for those who have wanted to join the army for a long time. Interested candidates can apply for recruitment to these posts through the offline mode in the prescribed format on or before October 5.

This recruitment is looking to hire a total of 10 posts out of which 3 posts are for a cook, 1 post for Barber, 2 posts for EBR (Equipment Board Repair), 3 posts for Washer Man and 1 post for Tailor are included. 

Candidates interested in these positions are required to have passed class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. Apart from this, the candidate should have proficiency in the relevant field. The age of the candidate should be between 18 - 25 years for recruitment to various Group C posts. However, candidates from the reserved category will be given age relaxation. 

As per the notification, selected candidates for the post of Cook will be given a salary of Rs 19,900-Rs 63,200 per month under Pay Level 2. Candidates selected for other posts will get salaries between Rs 18,000-Rs 56,900 per month under Pay Level 1. 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written and practical tests. The written test will have questions ranging from General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English to General Awareness. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each answer.
