Two of the six killers, who had gunned down a cashier and made off with Rs 10 lakh from the Corporation Bank in Chhawla, were arrested by the Delhi police on Sunday.

The sleuths are looking for the remaining four accused, including mastermind Ram Lagan, in Haryana and Rajasthan.

"The accused who have been arrested are Sachin (20) and Parvesh (19). The duo hails from Sonipat in Haryana. The police are raiding different parts of Haryana and Rajasthan and the rest will be arrested soon," said Anto Alphonse, DCP, Dwarka, adding, the other four have also been identified.

Sachin was hunted down easily after we scanned the CCTV camera footages of the crime scene, police said.

Responding to a tip-off on Friday, the sleuths raided several hideouts in Sonipat and nailed the accused.

Apart from a motorcycle seized from Ujwa village and which the police believe was used by Sachin during the murder, a country-made pistol and some cash were recovered from the duo.

A source also informed DNA that Lagan used to frequent the bank for a month to chalk out his plan.

He would allegedly come after the lunch break so that the crowd is less.
