The second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is all set to begin from September 19 and players and franchises have started preparations either in UAE or for their travel to the country.

Amid this, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who has left for Dubai, saw them receive a blow ahead of the re-start of the season as all-rounder Washington Sundar got ruled out as he did not clear the fitness test at the NCA with the finger injury he suffered in England not yet healed completely.

However, the side is going in with a fresh start and with an intent to win. And while fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the cash-rich tournament, RCB's star batsman - who has a huge fan base in India - received a video that got him excited.

Recently a fan posted a video of AB de Villiers on Twitter in which the batsman is seen displaying his batting skills and the fitting music was cheery on the cake.

The fan edited the video and captioned it as 'Genius' and soon AB de Villiers himself replied to the video as he seemed to have liked it.

The video however ends with a few unpleasant words and taking that to consideration de Villiers replied to the post: "We can maybe get rid of the bad language though? Other than that, coolest video ever."

As for the Proteas player, despite not having played any form of cricket in the last five months, he had smashed the bowlers all-round the park.

In this year's opening fixture, de Villiers played a match-winning knock of 48 which had helped the Virat Kohli-led side secure a win against Mumbai Indians (MI). In the seven games he played this year, de Villiers scored 207 runs, which includes two half-centuries at an average of 51.75 and a strike rate of 164.28.

The second leg of the IPL is all set to resume from September 19 and RCB will be in need of his good form which he had in the first half of the tournament.
