Euro T20 slam: South Africa skipper Faf Du Plessis joins Belfast Titans

South Africa captain Faf Du Plessis has agreed to join Euro T20 Slam franchise Belfast Titans. 

This debut tournament will be held across Netherlands, Scotland, and Ireland starting from August 30 to September 22.

On Friday, Faf Du Plessis was drafted in by Belfast Titans as a supplementary player, just one week after the league's official auction which was held in London on July 19. 

The 35-year-old has played 44 T20s apart from 143 ODI and 58 Tests, will be partnered by Belfast's marquee player and fellow countrymen JP Duminy and icon player Shahid Afridi. 

Belfast Titans' other key players include Muhammad Ilyas, Colin Ingram, and Mitchell McClenaghan.
