'We have to win coronavirus war together': Rishi Kapoor's last tweet urged people to stop pelting stones on doctors

Rishi Kapoor has died after a long battle with cancer. The actor, aged 67, breathed his last in Mumbai after putting on a brave fight with leukemia since two years. Quiter vocal on Twitter regarding the current situation of coronavirus, Rishi's last tweet was an appeal to people to stop stone pelting on doctors.

Rishi urged people to lynching and pelting stones or resort to any kind of violence on doctors, nurses, medical staff and policemen. His tweet read, "An appeal to all brothers and sisters from all social status and faiths. Please don’t resort to violence,stone throwing or lynching. Doctors,Nurses,Medics, Policemen etc..are endangering their lives to save you. We have to win this Coronavirus war together. Please. Jai Hind!"

Rishi Kapoor had previously issued a warning to block and unfollow trolls who questioned his lifestyle at a critical time like coronavirus outbreak. The actor had, in fact, changed his profile info to the same. The warning read, "I do not think people are understanding.Any joke,barb, comment on my life style, that will make me block you. Now up to you!"

Post Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor was getting treated for cancer in US. The veteran actor was accompanied by his wife Neetu Kapoor in US and various celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Anupam Kher among others paid them a visit there. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Riddhima Kapoor-Sahni flew from US to Mumbai in order to balance their work commitment and be with Rishi.
