Priyanka Chopra, a global icon now, has actually climbed her way up the ladder since childhood. Starting off as a model and totally owning the ramp, Priyanka began her Bollywood career at a young age. The 18-year-old girl was trying to become a Bollywood actress and the journey sure wasn't easy.

Talking about the struggle as an 18-year-old, PeeCee told Vogue magazine, "I didn't know anything or anyone. I was yelled at by directors, I was thrown into movies, I was thrown out of movies." Further talking about a piece of advice that took her far along, Priyanka mentioned her father's rule - to listen more and talk less.

Confirming that it is this rule that took her a long way, Chopra went on to open up about how she dealt with struggle and failures. She stated, "I taught myself confidence. I learnt it's what you do after failure that makes you a success."

In the same interview, Priyanka mentioned that she does intend to start a family with her now-husband Nick Jonas. Buying a house and having her baby are, as she says, on her to-do list. On the work front, Priyanka was part of Toronto Internation Film Festival where her upcoming movie The Sky Is Pink was screened.
