Virat Kohli treated fans with a beautiful photo of Anushka Sharma and their daughter Vamika on International Women's Day. The Indian skipped penned witnessing the birth of a child and called women way stronger than women. In the photo, Anushka is seen cradling her baby while all smiles. Vamika's face is however hidden but it's a cute and heartwarming sight, indeed.
Virat wrote, "Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world."

While announcing the birth of their baby girl, Virat released a statement that read as "We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time."
On announcing Vamika's name, Anushka shared the baby's first photo and wrote, "We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy."
