Late Satish Kaushik’s demise sent shockwaves in the industry. Recently, JioCinema unveiled the trailer of the actor’s movie titled The Comedian, featuring him in his last lead role. 

On Monday, JioCinema took to its social media and shared the trailer of Late Satish Kaushik’s movie The Comedian. The trailer starts with introducing the actor as ‘man of hazaar faces, only superstar’ Hasnukhlal at a birthday party. He is then expected to tell some jokes and make people laugh, however, he has lost his laughter and no one seems to like his jokes. 

The Comedian will see the Late Satish Kaushik in his last lead role. The film showcases the remarkable journey of an aging comedic actor, Hasmukh Lal, brilliantly portrayed by Satish Kaushik. Despite having lost his laughter, he finds hope and healing through an unexpected bond with Riya, a young video blogger battling cancer. The film encapsulates the profound impact of love and laughter even in the darkest of times.

The movie will premiere at the JioCinema Film Festival and will be the first film to premiere as a part of the festival on September 29.

Satish Kaushik passed away after suffering from a heart attack at the age of 67. The actor’s best friend Anupam Kher confirmed the news as he wrote on Twitter, “I know ‘death is the ultimate truth of this world!. But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will never be the same without you Satish.” 

The actor is known for playing some iconic comic roles like Calender in Mr. India, Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana, and Chanu Ahmed in Sarah Gavron’s British film Brick Lane. The actor is survived by a daughter Vanshika and a wife.
