Shah Rukh Khan has made a grand comeback to the big screen as a leading hero with Pathaan since his last release Zero in December 2018. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathaan has been a humongous blockbuster earning more than Rs 400 crore worldwide gross in four days of its worldwide release on January 25.

After the action-packed entertainer hit the theatres on Wednesday, Shah Rukh Khan made his first public appearance as he greeted hundreds of his fans gathered outside his palatial bungalow Mannat in Bandra, Mumbai on Sunday, January 29, evening. The superstar thanked his fans with folded hands as he made his signature romantic pose, waved at them, and sent them flying kisses from his terrace balcony.

On Sunday evening itself, Deepika went to the iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre to watch the live reactions of the audience while Pathaan was being played on the big screen. Wearing everything black from a hoodie to pants to a mask, the actress was guarded with tight security. As soon as she got out of her Mercedes car, fans outside the theatre started screaming Shah Rukh's name.

The Siddharth Anand-directed actioner has become the fastest Hindi film to collect Rs 400 crore worldwide gross as it has earned 429 crore within four days of its release, out of which Rs 265 cross gross has come from India and Rs 164 cross gross has come from overseas. Talking about the net collections, Pathaan has earned Rs 220 crore net from the domestic box office.

Produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is the fourth film in the YRF Spy Universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and War. Salman Khan reprised his role from the Tiger films and there were several references to Hrithik Roshan's Kabir character from War in Pathaan.
