Sanju: This is when Ranbir Kapoor-Rajkumar Hirani film's trailer will be out

 'Sanju' is one of the most awaited biopics of 2018. The teaser of Rajkumar Hirani film featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Sanjay Dutt has already blown our mind away and fans can't wait to watch the trailer of the film.

It's confirmed! 'Sanju' trailer will be out on May 30th. At the teaser launch of 'Sanju', makers had explained that while Sanju teaser only focussed on Ranbir Kapoor and his transformation for the part, 'Sanju' trailer will give a glimpse of other characters in the film as well. Manisha Koirala plays the part of Dutt's mother and actress Nargis Dutt, Sunil Dutt's role will be played by Paresh Rawal and Dia Mirza will step into the role of Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata Dutt. Written and directed by Hirani, the film also stars Anushka Sharma, Karishma Tanna, Jim Sarbh and Vicky Kaushal in important roles.

It's an extremely important film for Ranbir Kapoor who hasn't tasted success at the box office since 2016 film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. The fantastic posters and Sanju teaser have already got fans excited for the film. In an interview to DNA After Hrs earlier, Rajkumar Hirani spoke about why he chose Ranbir for the role of Sanjay Dutt. He said, " The first reason for choosing him is that he’s a fantastic actor. And the second reason is that he is at the perfect age. I needed an actor who could be 21 (years old) because that is where the film begins. That was the age when Sanju was shooting for Rocky and his drug phase started. And then we have Sanju when he came out of prison (around 56 years). So, we needed someone who could fit that transformation."

While talking about Sanjay Dutt's response, Hirani had earlier told DNA After Hrs, "I have shown it as well as some scenes to him. He gets overwhelmed. In fact, I told him to see the full film, but he said no, he would watch it when it’s complete. He came to the sets only twice. I think he is pretty brave. He has talked about everything in his life. I don’t think everyone will have that courage."

'Sanju' is all set to release on June 29.
