Koffee With Karan 6: Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt look excited as they shoot the opening episode

Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt will be Karan Johar's first guests on the sixth season of popular chat show, 'Koffee With Karan'. While the host had announced this last week itself, the ladies shot the episode on Saturday, after Saif Ali Khan-Sara Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor-Janhvi Kapoor. 

“The first cup of Koffee is all about girl power!! Welcome Deepika and Alia on episode 1 season 6 of Koffee with Karan,” Karan had tweeted on September 28. Karan, Deepika and Alia took to their Instagram accounts, on Saturday, to share pictures from the shoot.

“The episode will be shot next week and will see the actresses discuss girl power, the changing role of women in films today and their real-life friendship, among other things,” a source associated with the show had earlier told Mumbai Mirror. 

The topics of discussion will ofcourse not be limited to that. We can trust Karan to get Deepika to talk about her rumoured Italian wedding to Ranveer Singh and Alia to spill the beans on her relationship with Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor. 

Koffee With Karan 6 will premiere on October 21.
