The sixth season of Karan Johar's popular chat show, Koffee With Karan, finally kickstarted on Wednesday. Earlier Karan Johar had tweeted that Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone would be opening the season but it seems there has been a slight change in the order.
The first guests to shoot the episode were Bollywood's most-stylish father-daughter duo - Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan. Sharing a gorgeous picture of them, Karan wrote, "Today was day 1 for the shoot of #koffeewithkaran ! Shot with the extremely hilarious and supremely bright and sensitive father daughter duo! #saifalikhan and @saraalikhan95"
Sara, who will be making her Koffee debut this season, will be asked about everything - from her experience of growing up in a broken marriage to forming a close bond with her step-mom Kareena Kapoor Khan and ofcourse Taimur Ali Khan.
"Since the latest season will air before her debut film Kedarnath hits screens, this will be the first time that the audience will get a peek into what Sara is like. Karan feels that the episode, complete with witty banter and fun questions, will be a great way to introduce the youngster to viewers. The duo has been briefed to expect hardball questions from Karan. He intends to tap into all aspects of Sara's life — from growing up in a broken marriage to forming a bond with Kareena Kapoor Khan and little Taimur," a source had earlier told Mid Day.

A source had earlier told DNA, "Like Janhvi, Karan’s other protégée, Sara, will also make her big Koffee debut this season. The filmmaker has requested her and Saif to come together on the show. He knows the bond that the Nawab of Pataudi shares with his daughter and wants to highlight it in front of the audience. Saif and Sara are expected to share each other’s secrets — what they love about each other, their annoying habits, etc. The actor will also talk about his daughter’s debut, given that the episode will air around the release of Simmba."
Koffee With Karan 6 will premiere on October 21.
