'I know you’re with us': Janhvi Kapoor pens emotional note on Sridevi's 60th birth anniversary with mom's rare photo

Bollywood superstar Sridevi's 60th birth anniversary has left her millions of fans and family members emotional. The late actress' daughter, Janhvi Kapoor has penned a heartfelt note on her mumma's birth anniversary, with a rare photo of Sridevi and her mother, Rajeswari Yanger. 

On Instagram, Janhvi shared a black-and-white photo of her mom and grandmom, and wished, she could have lived the same moment with her on the sets. In the photo, Sridevi was captured sitting on Rajeswari's lap, and they both were having a conversation on a film set. For the unversed, Sridevi was accompanied by her mother or her sister, Srilatha, in the shooting of films between 1972 to 1994.

Sharing the rare photo, Janhvi wrote, "Happy birthday Mumma. I know this was one of your favourite places to be, on a film set with your mumma. And today as I’m on a set on your birthday I wish more than ever I had you with me like this, so we could convince everyone it was actually your 35th and not 60th birthday." 

She further added, "And you could tell me if I’m pushing hard enough or not. And I could see in your eyes if I was making you proud. I know you’d be happy seeing us try, in your memory. Every day. I love you, you are the most special woman on this planet." Kapoor concluded, "And I know you’re with us still. You’re the reason we keep going (heart emoji) hope you’re having lots of payasam and ice creams and caramel custards today." On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen with Varun Dhawan in Nitesh Tiwari's Bawaal. She will next be seen with Rajkummar Rao in Mr and Mrs Mahi.
