Choreographer Remo D'Souza hospitalized after he suffers heart attack; admitted to ICU

Choreographer Remo D'Souza was admitted to Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai on Friday afternoon. He suffered a major stroke and was receiving treatment for the heart attack in ICU of the hospital.

The choreographer, who has also worked in films like 'ABCD', 'F.A.A.L.T.U' and Salman Khan-starring 'Race 3', was out of danger some time back.

Remo's wife Lizelle D'Souza confirmed the news to Indian Express and mentioned that the next 24 hours are very important. She said, "It was a blockage. Doctors have done angiography. He is in the ICU. Please pray. Next 24 hours are very important."

His PRO confirmed news that Remo's condition is now stable. He is however kept under observation.

Remo D'Souza, last seen judging 'India's Best Dancer', was also the helmer of the 'ABCD' franchise - 'ABCD 2' and 'Street Dancer 3D' (released in 2020). He had also directed Tiger Shroff-Jacqueline Fernandez starring film 'A Flying Jatt'.

On Television, Remo has hosted various shows like 'Dance Plus' and 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa'. He has mentored other choreographers like Dharmesh Yelande.

In 2020, Remo won a Filmfare award for 'Ghar More Pardesiya' for the movie 'Kalank'. D'Souza was going to resume the filming of 'Time To Dance', a movie he had announced but has been kept under wraps since a long time.
