Television actor Amit Sadh has cleared the air on reports of him dating 'Mohabbatein' actor Kim Sharma.

Amit Sadh, who is best known for his roles in web series 'Breathe: Into the Shadows' and film 'Shakuntala Devi' starring Vidya Balan in the lead, has outrightly denied love blossoming between the two.

In an exclusive interview with Mumbai Mirror, Amit, while speaking about being spotted in Goa with Kim Sharma, said, that they bumped into each other at a restaurant and exchanged greetings. He added that he will 'never romance in hiding'.

He said, "I didn’t meet anyone, I’d wake up in the morning, walk on the morning, walk on the beach, eat Goan fish curry and rice, and go to bed by 9 pm."

He further added, "We accidentally bumped into each other at a restaurant and exchanged greetings. That was it. Amit Sadh will never romance in hiding. I don’t care for such reports, but we shouldn't talk about the women in our industry, and the country, in such a frivolous manner."

As per reports, Amit has been travelling quite a lot across the country owing to work commitments., and he has especially been to Goa quite often. However, after he wrapped up the shoot in Manali and Patiala in October, he returned to Mumbai and then dashed off to Goa for a short vacay. For Diwali, he went to a village in Khopoli. Post that, Amit jetted off to Dubai and hasn't returned yet.

In his interview to the portal, Amit also revealed that during the shoot for his upcoming web series 'Zidd', he suffered a minor injury and is currently undergoing physical rehab.

In November, in an interview with MensXP, Amit opened up about a time in his life when he would constantly feel depressed. He revealed that he had attempted suicide four times at the mere age of 16-18.

"I didn’t overcome it all in one day - took me 20 years! I just found one thing for sure - this is not the end," he shared.

The 'Sultan' actor added, "I feel blessed and fortunate that I’m on the other side of the white light. Now I have a lot of compassion, love, and empathy for people who become weak."

He went on and asserted, "There must be so many people who commit suicide but there are so many more people who contemplate or have thoughts about committing suicide on some dark day. For me, what marks real strength is to come out of it."

Amit Sadh had made his debut in Bollywood opposite actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 'Kai Po Che'.
