Mr Killer, I’ll make your life living hell

An angry Anant N Mishra, husband of murdered Dell employee Payal Sureka (29), is in an intensely vengeful mood, seeking to make the life of his wife’s killer “a living hell” that would make him “pray for death”.

Anant spewed anger and vengeance on his Facebook wall on Thursday, even as police commissioner Shankar M Bidari vent his own anger at the “verbal diarrhoea” of one of his subordinates—a police source—for divulging details of the investigation into the Payal murder case to the media on Wednesday.

Anant’s post divulges that the man (unnamed as yet) who he considers the killer of his wife— an Orissa gym trainer who worked with him in a JP Nagar gym till earlier this year—had owed him Rs75,000, was a womaniser, and “had some issues with him (Anant)”.

He states in his wall post: “… (though he) never ever (sic) showed aggressive intentions… we knew he will definitely try to harm me when he becomes powerful. But we never thought that he would go to that extent (killing Payal). I’ll narrate the entire story after (the) police announce his name.”  Payal’s husband’s anger and frustration are evident when he posts on his FB wall on Wednesday: “…im waiting to get a clean chit and then ul all c what im capable of.” Anant says in a post on Tuesday that though he is not supposed to speak anything about the investigation, the manner in which his in-laws are portraying him and his family members as being involved in Payal’s murder “things are crossing the limits and I have to speak soon.”

That may not be to police commissioner Bidari’s liking. A police source divulging the murder investigation details to the media on Wednesday has already got his goat after a few newspapers carried the versions in the Thursday editions.

While he has issued a gag order to his officials and men on speaking anything to the media about investigation’ status, he has particularly said the person from his department who suffered from “verbal diarrhoea” would be given the “right medicine”.

“We are yet to get proper evidence. The officer who disclosed details on this murder case requires proper medicine for the disease,” he told reporters on Thursday afternoon.

“The official confirmation on the arrest of the murderer will come right after the arrest. We have to pinpoint the real culprit. For us all media is equal. We will not hide anything from the media ever,” he said.
