Gujarat University BA students struggle for hall-ticket

In yet another goof-up, students of Bachelor of Arts of Gujarat university were seen running from pillar to post, to get their hall-ticket, a day before their examination. Attempts of the students seeking help from the university helpline went in vain.

Semester 1 students of BA are to appear for their exams on Tuesday morning. Many students were jittery and disappointed on Monday with no hall-ticket in their hand. Sharing his plight, Jatin Barot, semester 1 external student said, "University starts distributing hall-ticket two to three days prior to the exam. Saturday was a holiday followed by Sunday and even Monday which is why I am facing this problem. I tried to contact the university helpline but there is no response. I thewn sought help from members of the National Students Union of India.

I have no option but to visit the exam centre on Tuesday and figure out the scenario there. I just wish they allow me. I had paid my fees on time so it is an error from the university's end."

When DNA tried to contact the university, there was no response.
